A judge on Wednesday sentenced a Chesapeake police officer accused of stealing ammunition from his department to 12 months in jail with all but one month suspended, according to the Virginia Courts Case Information Web site.
Charles G. Adams will also spend a year on unsupervised probation and pay $107 in court costs, the document said. Adams was charged last month with one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Tell me it pays to be cops when you break the law. I always knew there was dirty cops in Chesapeake, and when they break the laws,  the dirty judges of Chesapeake protect them. If this was some poor black guy he would been giving more then a year in jail and he would never been any time suspended.

It’s good to see that there are people taking action to defend their rights as a father.
I only wish that F4J would come to Chesapeake, VA and protest to bring awareness to the discrimination against fathers taking place in its Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
I haven’t had overnight visits in more than a year because of a temporary sole custody order that Judge Willis in Chesapeake, VA ordered last February when my ex-wife snatched my kids up from Atlanta where we lived at the time and carried them to Virginia.

In February 2007 I filed for divorce and custody of my children in the Fulton County courts in Atlanta where we lived for 5 years before my wife took the children. That same month, Judge Willis in Chesapeake, Virginia in violation of Federal Law stole the jurisdiction away from the Georgia courts and gave custody without visitation to my wife that I was finally granted a divorce from in December of last year.

That wasn’t enough. I have 3 children. One was actually born in Georgia, and not in Virginia like my other 2 children. My wife and kids lived with me continuously from 1996 until my wife took the children and left in Feb. 2007. In 1999, even though I wasn’t separated from my wife, the Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations court issued an order for child support in the amount of $311 per month. Once again, it was the dishonorable Judge Willis that issued the order. So, the Department of Child Support Enforcement in Chesapeake, Virginia got a judgment in the amount of $33, 000 against me. They claimed I owed back child support from Feb. 2007 dating back to 1999 for the support of my oldest daughter Alexis. Well, I told them and demonstrated to them by presenting tax returns and medical bills as well as school records that Alexis, and my wife lived with me all those years. I was the only one working, and I did support my child. They levied all my bank accounts and garnished 65% of my wages. Needless to say, I became homeless in Atlanta because I couldn’t pay my bills after they illegally took money from my accounts that I didn’t even owe.

It took 6 months to get to court. The dishonorable Judge Olds in Chesapeake, Virginia ruled to give me a credit for $26, 000, but I was already homeless, I was forced to move in with my sister in North Carolina and I still hadn’t seen my kids for almost a year.

Then, Judge Olds set child support for the amount of money that I was earning in Atlanta, not what I currently owe in North Carolina. So, I still can’t afford to rent my own place. I live with my sister, and I can’t have a bank account. My employer takes 65% of everything I earn. The order in October last year issued by Judge Olds is a temporary support order and not a final order. So, I can’ even appeal it. My ex-wife is still collecting welfare in Virginia, not working and the legal system thinks its better to take all my earnings and leave the children with her. So, I’ll finally be able to get my support adjusted in May of this year, 2008, which is the date that the dishonorable Judge Olds, in Chesapeake, VA set for our final support hearing. This is after living a year and a half on just 35% of what I earn. And, after having been made homeless by a bogus collective judgment obtained by DCSE in Virginia in the amount of $33, 000.

Here is where I am. I finally have a custody and visitation hearing, a year after my wife snatched the kids from me and left me in Chesapeake, Virginia on March 19, 2008. That is this week. I hope this judge orders that I can at least have normal scheduled and overnight visitations with my kids whom do love me very dearly as their father, still. But, I don’t have my hopes up, because I’ve been treated like nothing more than a criminal and a prisoner by this court in Chesapeake, VA thus far.

I hope someone in J4F can help me. I want to sue the Chesapeake court and the DCSE for violating my rights in the Federal Courts. I’ve investigated it, and it can be done. The jurisdiction for this matter would be in Norfolk, VA. With some support and encouragement and a little coaxing and perhaps hand-holding, I could file the papers myself as a pro-se litigant. I’d love to see the looks on Judge Willis’s and Judge Old’s faces as they stand in front of a Federal Court Judge and have to explain what the hell they were doin.

Grand jury indicts Ryan Frederick on capital murder charge

This case should never have come to trial, however I'm sure there is some type of cover up going on there in Chesapeake. The DA has to help to protect the blue law/blue shield in Chesapeake. Then again most cops do think they are above the law.

Ryan Frederick was indicted on a charge of capital murder today in the death of a Chesapeake detective during a drug raid earlier this year.

He also was indicted on charges of use of a firearm and manufacturing marijuana.

Frederick, 28, is accused of killing Detective Jarrod Shivers, 34, on Jan. 17 while police were executing a drug search warrant at Frederick’s home in the 900 block of Redstart Ave. in Portlock. Police said two shots were fired from inside Frederick’s home through the front door as officers used a battering ram on the front door.

One shot hit Shivers as he stood on the front steps of the home.

Shivers’ job during the raid was to protect the “breacher” by covering any doors or windows, police have testified.

Police said they had two separate entry teams when they went to Frederick’s home at 8:30 p.m. One team was to enter the home while the other was to simultaneously enter a detached garage.

A confidential informant told police Frederick was growing marijuana in his garage. Police, however, found only enough marijuana to initially charge Frederick with simple possession.

Frederick, in a jail interview, said he fired at what he feared were intruders.

James Broccoletti, Frederick’s attorney, argued during a preliminary hearing that the prosecution could not show that his client’s actions were deliberate and premeditated, as is required to prove first-degree murder. At most, he argued, the case is one of involuntary manslaughter.

On Tuesday he said the capital indictment came because the grand jurors heard only from the prosecution. He said it could be January 2009 until a trial date is set for the case.

Another way Judge "asshole" Olds will screw over father is by voiding any other child custody order from another state. Yes she will just ignore it completely.

North Carolina Judge gave my ex-bitch wife sole physical custody with both of us have joint legal custody.


In one of my many so-called hearing in front of this Judge, She simply gave full custody to my ex-bitch wife. No hearing on the matter at all. She completely ignore the NC Court order for custody. Then again this happens alot in VA. Va not accepting other state Legal papers. Judges in VA Need to be elected. not appointed.

OT: Judge throws out case against Chesapeake circuit court clerk

See the courts staff take care of their own. These companies pay research to research land deeds before the sell of any land, so in fact 90% of the work required is done by outside source, then why should it take so long for the clerk to o their job, it should.. However I bet they inform the tax office ASAP so they can make sure they get their money...

CHESAPEAKE – A judge has thrown out a lawsuit against Chesapeake’s Circuit Court Clerk Faye Mitchell over her office’s backlog in processing land transactions two years ago.

Visiting Circuit Judge Pamela Baskerville stopped the lawsuit by title company ReQuire LLC of Virginia Beach from proceeding Wednesday. She ruled that the company had no standing to file for damages. In the lawsuit, ReQuire argued that state law provides for damages if documents called “certificates of satisfactions’’ are not properly and timely recorded.

Mitchell’s attorney, Jeff Rosen of the Pender & Coward lawfirm, argued that the case should be dropped because the title company had not suffered any specific damages. Rosen also argued that the state law applied to the actual property owners who may have suffered damages.

“The clerk is pleased with the court’s ruling and believes that the case lacked any merit from the start,’’ Rosen said.

At the time of the lawsuit, the backlog problem existed for several years and grew worse during the city’s housing boom two years ago. Before Mitchell took office in 2004, former clerk Lillie Hart called the staffing level in her deeds office inadequate and blamed the situation on state budget cuts.

DNA Denied in murder case in Chesapeake, VA

James Boughton Jr.'s defense attorney said he is developing "credible evidence " that points to another person as the gunman who shot two Mormon missionaries in Deep Creek in January 2006.

Another person was with Boughton the night a missionary was killed and another was wounded, but that person was ruled out by police as the shooter.

Without a witness to positively identify the shooter, DNA evidence will play a crucial role in the case, said Andrew Sacks, Boughton's defense attorney.

Sacks and Boughton were in Chesapeake Circuit Court on Friday, asking for a DNA expert to be appointed for the defense. Judge Randy Smith denied the request.

Boughton is expected to stand trial Jan. 22 on charges of first-degree murder, malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding and three firearm charges. The trial, delayed twice primarily due to a change in defense attorneys, is expected to last about nine days.

Morgan W. Young, 21, of Bountiful, Utah, and Joshua Heidbrink, 19, of Greeley, Colo., were walking door-to-door on Elkhart Street in Chesapeake when they were shot. Young was killed.

Sacks argued that no one identified Boughton as the shooter. Boughton, who turns 21 this month, never confessed.

"This is a case basically built on circumstantial evidence alone …'' Sacks said in asking for DNA assistance. "If you remove the DNA from this case, I'm not sure you could present it to a jury."

Commonwealth's Attorney Nancy Parr and Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney D.J. Hansen opposed the defense request. Sacks said he would renew the motion for DNA help for Boughton at a later date.

"His guilt or innocence may hinge on that evidence," he said.

According to testimony during a preliminary hearing last year, on the night of the shootings, an unrelated confrontation was unfolding on Elkhart Street away from Heidbrink and Young. The two missionaries were talking to a man on the street.

Minutes later they heard a gunshot. They looked down the street toward the noise and saw a man holding a gun . The gunman, whose head was covered by a dark hoodie, ran toward them.

Young and Heidbrink raised their hands and told the gunman, "We didn't see anything."

Both men were shot; the gunman fled.

I wonder why this sorry ass judge denied the request, however if this defendant was a young white male the judge would have approve this request. I can only hope his lawyer appeal this ruling. I can say that all the judges in Chesapeake should be kick to the curb. Most are completely bias against blacks and in JDR court against fathers.
